Greenhouse Feeding Team
The feeding team at Greenhouse Therapies consists of a dietitian and occupational therapist experienced in collaborative support for children with feeding difficulties, which may include:
- delayed introduction of solid foods
- a delay in developmental milestones needed for feeding
- current or past use of tube feeding
- diagnosis of a syndrome or medical condition that impacts feeding
A feeding team visit lasts between sixty and ninety minutes and will include assessment of typical nutritional intake, evaluation of oral motor and feeding skills, individualized strategies for advancement of feeding development and pleasant meals, as well as necessary referrals.
To get started, ask your pediatrician for a referral to the Greenhouse Therapies Feeding Team (it can be faxed to us at (360) 291-7703) and reach out to the Greenhouse office to get on the schedule.
