Speech Therapy

Speech therapy at Greenhouse is relationship-focused and strengths-based. We specialize in areas which haven't always responded well to "traditional" speech therapy, like supporting gestalt language processors and working on speech sounds at any age. Whether it's working on language, articulation, apraxia, executive functioning, or supporting autistic communicators and gestalt language processors, we have the skills to support your child.

At Greenhouse, we are staunch advocates for the beauty of neurodiversity. We are committed to helping children to develop the communication skills that will allow them to thrive while honoring and respecting their unique communication styles. Our focus on affirming neurodivergent learners allows for treatment plans that meet children's needs while building their confidence and sense of well-being.*

*In a society that values sameness, neurodivergent communication is often seen as something to be “fixed” rather than celebrated and supported.  For years, Rachel has dreamed of creating a space where neurodiverse learners are seen and supported, strengths are celebrated, and personal agency is encouraged.  For that reason, you won’t find our therapists writing social skills goals for meeting neurotypical standards.  Instead, we help children and families to identify what skills will improve connection and communication and build up on already-existing strengths.
