Our Story

In 2023, pediatric speech therapist and parent Rachel Wells launched her own practice - known as Westbound Speech Therapy - with a clear vision for offering strengths-based, joy-filled speech-language therapy with a focus on developing relationship skills and creating meaningful change. Parents quickly recognized Rachel’s dedication to her work and her practice grew. Unable to meet the growing demand for neurodiversity-affirming services on her own, she was joined by fellow speech-language pathologist Anna Sullivan in the summer of 2024.

Recognizing that brains are interconnected and that many children thrive when provided with occupational therapy for sensory and motor-based needs and/or play therapy to support social-emotional growth, Rachel built on her vision of strengths-based services to include workspace for highly skilled occupational therapists and play therapists. Having a variety of pediatric services in one space allows families to schedule the appointments they need and gives therapists the benefit of collaborating with and learning from each other.

Greenhouse also provides office space for licensed mental health counselors who share our commitment to affirming diversity in all forms. While many local practices serve children or adults only, we are thrilled to offer mental health services to support individuals of all ages in navigating this complex and messy world. After all, families exist in systems and communities are not so easily separated by age. We are thrilled to welcome all.
