Genna Brodsky Chase, LICSW, CHT

Hello, I’m Genna. I’m a psycho-spiritual therapist whose been in the field for about 20 years providing guidance and heart healing for those who long for and desire a more satisfying and enriching life. I work with adults (19 and up) who want to heal from trauma and negative beliefs, adopt radical self-love and compassion, build skills towards living their best authentic lives, and are ready for change to move towards liberation.

You’ll be interested to work with me if you’re going through big life transitions or spiritual emergence, are of the LGBTQIA2S+ communities, identify as Highly Sensitive or Empath, work in the healing/wellness and art professions, and are attracted psycho-spiritual growth. Some of the methods/approaches I use are: psychodynamic, hypnotherapy, EFT (Tapping), somatic and guided visualizations, lifespan Integration, neurolinguistic programing, brainspotting and bilateral stimulation (EMDR).

I graduated from Smith College School for Social Work in 2007, worked as a case manager in underserved communities, then as a general therapist in the psychiatry department at Kaiser Permanente and then pursued enhancing my skills as an individual psychotherapist
in my own practice. I'm currently licensed in both WA and CA and provide both in-person therapy (for those living locally) in Olympia WA, and telehealth (video) therapy.

I practice with multidimensional and intersecting identities and bring humor, deep listening, and culturally attuned care, and see myself as your guide towards self-empowerment and healing. I also facilitate a LGBTQ+ Mental Health Wellness Group for folks in their 20’s and 30’s.

Self reflection is necessary for me to be there for myself and for others. This is a life practice of mine which I hold very dear. I'm a human being, ever changing, constantly
learning and evolving. I show up in sessions, as myself, and am devoted to doing any work to face my own inner wounding and placement in this world- such as continuously learning to decondition from the systems that oppress us all.
